Last Sunday I preached on How to Love Your Enemies at the First Baptist Church of Dallas. I was filling in for Dr. Robert Jeffress who was away on vacation. This is the sort of sermon that you may not need today, but you are probably going to need it sooner than you think. As I told the people last Sunday, I preach it first for myself and then for them.
To paraphrase C. S. Lewis, everyone says that loving your enemies is a lovely idea until we actually have an enemy.
