‘God Bless The USA’ was originally released in 1984 by Lee Greenwood. He always felt the urge to write a patriotic song and when the shooting down of Korean Air Lines Flight 007 occurred, Lee knew the time was right to unite the nation. It rose on the country charts, but it wasn’t until the attacks on September 11th that the song became a cultural phenomenon.

‘And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me’

Home Free is an American a cappella group that competed and won the fourth season of The Sing-Off. Comprised of members Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance, Home Free has been sharing their unique sound for years. Today, they’re joining forces with famed vocalist Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force Band for this special performance of ‘God Bless The USA.’

‘And I'd gladly stand up next to you
And defend Her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.’

As our nation faces difficult times, we can find peace in the knowledge that we are all children of God, and He loves each and every one of us. When we stand together, God will bless our land and light the way.
