Turkey wants all governments across Europe to criminalize what they call “Islamophobia,” including any negative comments about the religion.

World Net Daily reports a Turkish Foreign Minister in a statement called on all EU governments to criminalize “Islamophobia.”

He urged all politicians to recognize negative speech about Islam as ‘a hate crime and a form of racism’ in their constitutions, and went on to accuse lawmakers of not paying as much attention to Islamophobia as they do to anti-Semitism.

A report on the statement says Protestant Christians are not considered a “legal entity” in Turkey and are not allowed places of worship.

It also says Greeks are targeted with “hate crimes” and Yazidis are “simply not recognized as having religion.”
