Man drowns in northwestern Colorado reservoir

CRAIG, Colo. (AP) — A 34-year-old man has drowned in a northwestern Colorado reservoir.

Witnesses told the Rio Blanco County sheriff's office that the man slid into Kenney Reservoir off the cliffs just before 5 p.m. Wednesday and did not resurface. Friends were unable to find him and flagged down a sheriff's deputy.

The Craig Daily Press reports (bit.ly/2sGyKuA) divers recovered the man's body in 30 feet of water at about 8:20 p.m. His name has not been released.
