The Peter Boyles Show - October 3, 2026 HR 4: What happens when an execution doesn’t go as planned? Peter Boyles digs into the Christa Pike case after reports that her execution failed twice, asking what Tennessee officials should do next. The conversation takes Peter back to his own experience covering the execution of Gary Davis in Colorado, including his memories of the death chamber and journalist Carol McKinley witnessing the execution.

The hour also brings calls about the Gary Davis case, the death penalty, Jack Phillips and the Masterpiece Cakes controversy, and a caller who spent 43 years fighting to keep his brother’s killer behind bars. Peter also revisits his reporting on the JonBenét Ramsey case and his longtime connection with Carol McKinley.
