The Peter Boyles Show - October 10, 2026 HR 2: Peter Boyles welcomes Dan Hopkins, the longtime Denver radio veteran who gave Peter his first job in broadcasting, for a nostalgic look back at the early days of Denver radio, the legendary personalities who shaped the industry, and the rise of provocative talk radio through figures like Alan Berg.

The conversation also turns personal as Peter reflects on his recovery and the upcoming Broadcasting Hall of Fame induction. After Hopkins leaves, Peter returns to the debate over whether the scheduled execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan should be televised, with callers offering opposing views on justice, deterrence, and whether the public should witness the consequences of violence. The hour also touches on California’s political outlook and the challenges facing Republicans in the upcoming election.
