A sign was seen in the overnight hours in Seattle reading ‘One less CEO many more to go.’

The sign was spotted along a busy Seattle Highway and is clearly in reference to the recent murder of UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson.

SDOT's Press Secretary Ethan Bergerson told local media that the sign did not belong to a government entity like the Seattle Department of Transportation or Washington State Department of Transportation – instead a private construction contractor owns it.

SDOT was sent out to investigate, but when the crew got there he said, the message was gone. They are now trying to figure out who is responsible.

This comes after signs were posted up in New York showing the pictures and names of top level executives from healthcare companies, some showing Thompson with a red X over his photo.

The suspected killer, 26-year-old Luigi Mangione has been arrested, is behind bars in Pennsylvania and is currently fighting extradition to New York where he’s facing a murder charge.
