A person of interest in the murder of UnitedHealthcare's CEO was taken into custody at a McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania, after trying to use a fake ID, according to the New York Post.
Luigi Mangione, 26, was later arrested as a "strong person of interest" and his identity was made public.
Altoona police found him in possession of a gun, silencer and false identification cards similar to those used by the gunman, according to the network. One of the cards matched the ID used by the suspect to check into a hostel in Manhattan before the shooting, the New York Times reported.
Mangione is a graduate of the Ivy League's University of Pennsylvania.
His manifesto included quotes attributed to the Unabomber, notions of a relative not receiving proper medical care and the words "these parasites had it coming."
