This Travel Tuesday episode kicks off with Kevin and Linda laughing (and lamenting) their way through a monster blizzard that buried multiple states in feet of snow. The storm wrecked travel across the Northeast, canceling thousands of flights and threatening Kevin’s wife’s trip to her brother’s Navy promotion ceremony. As usual, Linda treats snow days like a national holiday; Kevin… very much does not.

The weather chaos leads to a spirited rant about New York City’s mayor, school delays, and the bizarre new policy of paying citizens to shovel snow with two forms of ID — a policy Kevin and Linda find endlessly mockable. From there, the pair turns to the recently concluded Olympics, celebrating gold medals and marveling at the risks, egos, triumphs, stumbles, and debates surrounding American athletes.

The conversation then shifts southward — way south — to Mexico, where cartel violence has sparked new travel advisories. Linda, who has sworn off Mexico entirely, warns listeners that cheap resorts aren’t worth the risk. Kevin confesses he once went to Tulum but lived to tell the tale. The moral: beachfront margaritas shouldn’t require survival instincts.

Italy enters next as both a heartbreak and a dream. The famous Lovers Arch in Salento collapsed after centuries of erosion — devastating locals and romantics alike. Fortunately, Kevin and Linda offer an alternative: join them in 2026 for a sun‑soaked adventure through Rome, Capri, and the Amalfi Coast. They wax poetic about turquoise waters, boutique hotels, and the jaw‑dropping Blue Grotto.

The episode wraps with travel‑hacking tips, love for CLEAR and TSA PreCheck, and shoutouts to upcoming guests. They end the hour celebrating Arthur Idala’s soon‑to‑be‑1,000th episode, teasing future adventures, and reminding listeners that travel — like life — is always better with humor and a passport.
